Michael Marc Friedman
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mike began his theatre training at Fordham University in the Bronx and is a Lifetime Member of The Actor’s Studio. He graduated from the New York Neighborhood Playhouse while performing stand-up regularly in NYC. Mike lives back in NYC now and is a recurring guest star on SWAT and has guest starred on NCIS:Hawaii, Blue Bloods, Modern Family, Brooklyn Nine Nine, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and NCIS among others. Mike created and starred in the comedy The Super Man, which was inspired by his real life experiences as a building super in Los Angeles. The Super Man went on to win The Audience Award at The ITV Festival in Los Angeles. It's The Super Man that led to a meeting with Rob Mcelhenney, creator of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and landed him a series regular role on the Fox Pilot Living Loaded. He recently finished writing and starring in Kensington which is a dark comedy set in Philadelphia. This same year it won for Best Pilot at The Soho International Film Festival in NYC. It was also an Official Selection at The prestigious Newport Film Festival as well as The Beverly Hills Film Festival and Series Festival in Denver. Mike has directed many commercials and appeared in over 40 national commercials throughout his career including Dunkin Donuts, Taco Bell, DirecTV and GoDaddy (Super Bowl).
